Re-Issue of 'Plastic Green Head'(1995), the sixth album by the American doom metal band Trouble - strictly limited 'Coloured Green' vinyl version! "Plastic Green Head - We own ourselves now." Chicago doom lords Trouble spend the metal nadir of the mid-90s cleaning house and coming back to earth after two records of major label hell. The self-titled album and Manic Frustration are considered some of the bands best work, but shortly thereafter, the band was looking to clean house. With an appropriately high degree of faith in their own capabilities, the band traveled to California to record their next album, all without a record deal,
self-financing the sessions, figuring they could own the masters and license out the album to interested parties, of which there was an ample supply.
