In little over two years One Direction have attained a level of success that has been nothing short of phenomenal. Formed during the seventh series of The X-Factor, the group went on to finish just third in the final, but they have still become the competition's most potent achievers since Leona Lewis. Not only hitting huge in the UK, they've also been tearing it up in the US and have become the first UK act to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100 with their first album.
