The ultimate collector's edition of Nazareth's 12th album (1981)
"We recorded The Fool Circle at about the time that the Russians invaded Afghanistan, and it felt as if World War III was about to erupt. It all felt very weird at the time, and there are a quite a few references to the situation. It's the closest thing we've ever done to a concept album," says Nazareth frontman Dan McCafferty about their 1981 LP.
Despite this sense of unease, Nazareth weren't about to stop having fun or abandon their feel good sound, which hit a peak on their previous album, Malice In Wonderland (SALVOCD043).
