Martial arts action from director Yuen Woo-ping. Tienbao (Chin Siu-ho) and Junbao (Jet Li) are lifelong friends whose relationship is tested to its limits when Tienbao becomes a follower of the military regime and Junbao joins a group of military rebels. When Tienbao betrays the rebels, Junbao has to take on his old friend at whatever the cost.
The cast also includes Michelle Yeoh, Yuen Cheung-yan and Lau Shun.
