Oliver Reed and Amanda Donohoe star in this true story about young Londoner Lucy Irvine (Donohoe) who responds to an advert written by mature gentleman Gerald Kingsland (Reed) for a lady to live with him for a year on a desert island. Survival away from modern civilisation proves harder than either of them expects and the tensions between them create added difficulties.
