Warner Music Poland Release Information The album "Postscriptum" (SACD Hybrid) by Czesław Niemen in a limited edition, in the series "Polskie Nagrania Catalogue Selections". This is the first edition of this album in the SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc) format. The choice of this format is a nod to audiophiles. Recorded in 1979 and finally released in 1980, Czesław Niemen's album "Postscriptum" is a rather eclectic release. In fact, it is not so much a post scriptum of his work as a kind of business card. The author was preparing this album for the MIDEM 1980 music fair in Cannes. Thus, it contained samples of his capabilities, showing the potential of the artist and, on the other hand, it was his second completely solo Niemen album (after "Katharsis" from 1976), presenting who he was and what he was like at the dawn of the new decade of the 1980s.
